Manifesta and Manifesta 9 curator Cuauhtémoc Medina are glad to announce Katerina Gregos and Dawn Ades as associate curators of Manifesta 9. Manifesta 9 will take place in Limburg, Belgium, in 2012. Katerina Gregos is a curator and writer based in Brussels, Belgium. Amongst other projects she is currently curator of the Danish Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale. Dawn Ades is a fellow of the British Academy, a former trustee of Tate and was awarded an Order of the British Empire in 2002 for her services to art history.

Manifesta Journal is going to participate in the pa/per view art book fair taking place 1 – 3 of April, 2011 at Wiels in Brussels. pa/per view art book fair brings together 32 leading artist book publishers and Manifesta is proud to present 4 issues of the second series of Manifesta Journal: MJ#7 – The Grammar of the Exhibiton, MJ#8 – Collective Curating, MJ#9 – History in the Present and MJ#10 – The Curator as Producer as well as the reprints from the first series of the Journal.
Manifesta re-elected Ambassador of European Culture
Manifesta Foundation is pleased to announce that it has been re-elected as Ambassador for European Culture thereby continuing its multi annual framework partnership with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Comission also for the years 2011-2013. The proposal Manifesta submitted to the EACEA in the framework of the Culture Programme 2007 – 2013 received 96 out of a possible 100 points by independent experts who assessed the proposal.
